5 minutes: Untitled
Today’s (totally) optional prompt: Groove? In it or out of it?
5 minutes go...
Thanks Erin Margolin for telling me to free write and I didn’t haveto follow the prompt. I just left Walmart and my nerves are shot. As I tweeted,“I had to go in four differentdirections for Drano, toothpaste, coffee and a newspaper in Walmart on SuperBowl Sunday.” I could have made it another day and done without the newspaperbut there was not enough coffee for me to make one cup tomorrow morning. Andthat’s not starting off good for a Monday. Now I am prepared.
Theprompt is about your groove. It almost going on a year, that my husband and Ihave been together in the house on a full-time basis. He is retired fromthe USMC. Not having the house to myself hadcompletely turned my groove upside down. I help him with his (our) photographybusiness and I work to run the household, be the mom, wife all while trying topromote The Christopher Chronicles and write. It was so much easier to do thosethings, and I was more efficient when I had the house to myself.
It’sbeen pretty good for the past month. I wouldn’t have wanted to know this timelast year that it was going to take a year to get use to this but I am glad thewrinkles are getting smooth out.
Times up.
