Dem Dry Bones...

The hip bone’s connected to the back bone
The back bone’s connected to the neck bone...

My back started hurting Sunday night. I've used the heating pad three times in the last 24 hours and have taken several showers to loosen up my joints.

Is my hip really responding to the weather?

I've been tossing and turning and watching the clock since 2:00 this morning with this screeching pain in my hip. I decided to go ahead and get up before my normal alarm clock time even though at the moment schools are on a two-hour delay. Yesterday the delay didn't make sense.

Now I'm anticipating that the schools will be closed. What a difference 12 hours makes.

So in addition to the pain in my hip, I've been watching the weather. I didn't want to fall back to sleep if I would in fact need to get up in another hour. So I'm drinking chamomile and hoping for a nap once the school closure word is official.

However it goes, UPS will come barreling down the road with my work on it at approximately 11am, regardless of what the school district says. I will need some sleep, 'lest I be evil.

Well, well. I just missed the call I've been waiting for. No school. Let's see if these weather predictions really pan out.

Come on chamomile, work your magic.

But yeah, my hip still hurts.

So there's that.

Yawn.

It's working.

But yeah, my hip still hurts.

And I'm too hard headed to go back to sleep because I'm a morning person.

So there's that too.
