Playing the game - but not by the rules
What do you call a person who doesn’t like to play by the rules, but likes to watch others play the game? ME!
I found this at another blog site - nobody invited me to play - but I liked the idea.
You are supposed to pick seven other bloggers, link up with them and challenge them to pick seven of their previous blog posts based on the following criteria: Most Beautiful, Most Popular, Most Controversial, Most Helpful, Posts whose success surprised, Post that got underserved attention and Post I’m most proud of. It’s called the Ultimate Blogging Challenge - and it is going to be hard for me to toot my own horn - or not.
Broken rule#1, I added an 8th post. Broken rule#2 I didn't choose to link up with seven or eight other bloggers.
HOWEVER, here is MY list:
Most Beautiful: Rhythm of Words This was tough to pick. I don’t know if it should be classified as beautiful. I chose it because it touches my heart to read it again even though I was the one who wrote it.
Most Popular: I'm not about to let anyone tell me how much money I can make...
Most Controversial: I don’t like controversy. I don’t want an argument in my comment section, so there are some things I choose not to write about. I don’t want to lose any friends or followers, but its killing me not to write about why I hateHalloween ~ ‘nuff said.
Most Helpful: Well there was this one about Breast Cancer that I wrote for a potential client who decided not to use it. Just to be on the safe side of copyright, I took it down. (I was advised) ~'nuff said
Post whose success surprised: Words of Encouragement I had no idea it would touch so many people!
Post that got underserved attention: Your Space is My Space... But we can still keep it to ourselves (this is about as controversial as I get) I chose this one based on reading "un deserved" but I'm leaving it as is...
Post I’m most proud of: End of one chapter and the beginning of another... (I just love re-reading it)
Post that still makes me LOL: (not part of the original challenge) HYDROXY-NUTS (Me, Myself & I) I crack myself up!
Here’s the thing, some bloggy events are kind of chain lettery but I like this one. Play if you like, but I’m not gonna challenge you.
