5 Minute Friday: Stretch

This is my first time participating in Five Minute Friday.The theme today is ‘Stretch’.

Ready set go!

I’m sitting here like a kid who has been told, “You have toget your homework done before you go outside.” Not that I want to go play oranything, but I have to exercise first. I’m sipping the last bit of my coffeetry to get my body to cooperate with what my brain is actually on board for.

But guess what happened? I was standing up and bent over toput one sock on a got a back spasm. Really? So now I have to stretch before Iput my socks on? Usually buzzing around the kitchen and putting dishes away tomusic is my warm up before the Insane workout my husband and I have been doingtogether.

When you get a back spasm from something as simple asputting a sock on it really makes you feel old. The last time it waslegitimate. I was trying to reach for something when I really need to get astep ladder. The reach was out of my stretch zone and BAM ouch. Lightningstrikes in my back and I need to stretch it out.
